Trang An UNESCO heritage site is a must-see for you during your stay in Vietnam. Its landscape of limestone peaks offer a spectacular scenery you will never forget. It is known as the Halong Bay inland but it also has a complex cave system which you can discover by taking a boat tour.
At 8:00 AM, you will be taken to Trang An UNESCO world heritage site, about a 2-hour drive. You might want to snap a few pictures of the rice paddies and colorful flowers !. You will meet some local people who are working in the field or doing some house works and have the chance to interact with them. You will be blown away by their kindness.
Upon arrival the site, you will visit the ancient capital of Vietnam over thousand years and learn Vietnamese history by visiting the very first Dinh King and Le King temples which give you the opportunity to learn about another period of the Vietnamese history, when it was ruled by China.
After that, you will be taken to Trang An UNESCO world heritage site for a boat ride on the sampan boat. You will peacefully stroll along the river and enjoy the amazing scenery. You will instantly understand why this site is so famous!
Unique rocks among the rice paddies and the quiet rivers will make this journey unforgettable. Sailing in the cave system is also a breath-taking experience and cap it off by enjoying an authentic meal at one of the many local restaurants. You will be taken back to Hanoi after the lunch.
