Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L, D)
After pickup at hotels in Hanoi's Old Quarter, your Halong Bay tour begins with the 4-hour trip to Tuan Chau Marina, where you'll take a tender transfer to your cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink on board followed by a cruise briefing, and then sit down to lunch, featuring seafood and Vietnamese cuisine while you head toward Titop island and beach.
In the afternoon, visit a beach for swimming in the emerald water; you can also climb up to the top of the island to take in a view of the bay, if you wish. Explore the Luon Cave by kayak or bamboo boat tour for an hour, and then return to the cruise boat to relax and enjoy local fruit and snacks on the deck. Dinner is served (Vietnamese and barbecue seafood dishes), followed by board games and squid fishing. Overnight: Your cabin on board
Day 2: Sung Sot Cave – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Wake up early for a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck before breakfast served Western-style. Then head to Surprise Cave (Sung Sot Cave), which you'll explore on a guided tour. Return to the boat for a Vietnamese cooking demonstration on board before lunch is served. At midday, return to Tuan Chau Pier where you'll disembark for the trip back to Hanoi, arriving in the late afternoon to end your tour.
